Sukriti Bhardwaj

Sukriti Bhardwaj (she/her) is a Research Assistant working on the Gender Violence and Autonomy project with Dr. Sylvia Burrow. She was born and raised in India and migrated to Canada to pursue Bachelor’s of Science specializing in Psychology from Cape Breton University, from which she graduated in 2021. Her efforts were recognized by Cape Breton University with a Silver Medal for Academic Excellence.

Sukriti is currently enrolled in the Continuing Care Assistant program at Nova Scotia Community College to get some insight into Gerontology since she is an aspiring physician. Sukriti has diverse interests that include advocating for mental health, Gender and Women’s Studies, and Real Estate investments. Her curiosity got the best of her and led her to explore the field of gender and women’s studies.

Along with this, she specializes in data analysis, C++, and JASP software. The work that Sukriti is doing is something that gives meaning to her life. Therefore, she plans to use her skills to the best of her abilities in order to make this world a better place for everyone.
